MISSION
MISSION
The next generation of autonomous systems will operate where the stakes are highest. Defense. Aerospace. Critical infrastructure. Every one of them will be limited by the data behind it.
Today that data falls short. Real-world collection is bounded by what has already occurred. Simulation is bounded by what a designer can approximate. Neither covers the long tail.
DiffuseDrive was founded on a single conviction. The autonomous systems race will be won by whoever solves the data problem. We intend that to be the West.

ORIGINS
Bálint Pásztor and Roland Pintér spent years at Bosch working on autonomous driving. Bálint was on the business side, Roland deep in machine learning. They were solving different problems, in different teams, in the same system.
Only later did they realize they were both running into the same wall. Every program stalled at the same point. Not because of talent. Not because of funding. Because of data.
There was never enough of it. And the data that mattered most, the rare, dangerous, real-world edge cases, was the hardest to get. The industry accepts this as a given. They did not.
